Instytut zaprasza na warsztaty w ramach projektu OPEN HOUSE  i innych projektów z zakresu zrównoważonego budownictwa (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Open_House_(FP7), http://www.openhouse-fp7.eu/) organizowane we współpracy z Miastem Warszawa oraz Mostostal Warszawa S.A. w dniu 29 listopada 2011 roku w Hotelu Sheraton, ul. Bolesława Prusa 2, Warszawa. Udział jest bezpłatny. Oficjalnym językiem spotkania jest język angielski.

Wydarzenie towarzyszy konferencji “Strategic Energy Technology Plan SET-Plan” (Europejski Plan Strategiczny w dziedzinie Technologii Energetycznych), organizowanej przez Krajowy Punkt Kontaktowy Programów Badawczych, Komisję Europejską we współpracy z Ministerstwem Nauki i Szkolnictwa Wyższego i Ministerstwem Gospodarki Polski. Warsztaty adresowane są do uczestników konferencji jak również środowiska naukowego i biznesu, przedstawicieli administracji publicznej zainteresowanych problemami zrównoważonego rozwoju, źródłami energii odnawialnej i efektywnością energetyczną.

"OPEN HOUSE" - workshop
A free workshop on the EU OPEN HOUSE project and other low emission economy and building sustainability projects will be organized on the 29th of November 2011, in cooperation of the City of Warsaw, the Building Research Institute, and Mostostal Warszawa S.A., constituting an accompanying event of the SET-Plan Conference. The event is aimed at both participants of the SET-Plan Conference and the scientific and business communities, as well as representatives of public authorities which are interested in the issues of sustainable development, renewable energy sources and energy efficiency.

The fifth conference on the European Strategic Energy Technology Plan (SET-Plan) is organized by the National Contact Point for the Research Programmes and the European Commission in close collaboration with the Ministry of Science and Higher Education and the Ministry of Economy of Poland.

At this high-profile event representatives of industry, research, financing and policy will discuss the financing and swift development of the key low-carbon energy technologies indentified in the SET-Plan. A key outcome of the conference will be a strong political resolution on a proper reflection of  the SET-Plan technologies in the next financial framework (2014-2020).

Other main topics will be infrastructural consequences of the transition to low-carbon technologies, and the SET-Plan's new initiative on Smart Cities and Communities. The conference will foster the commitment of stakeholders to developing integrated solutions to urban energy and transport problems.

Also  the progress and achievements of the European Industrial Initiatives (EIIs) and the European Energy Research Alliance's (EERA) Joint Programmes will be presented.

The event will be accompanied by the exhibition on SET-Plan technologies and demonstration projects (side events).
